The Landless Farmer is a project launched in 2019 in Moulay Bouchta, north of Fez, focusing on the use of non-genetically modified seeds selected for their ability to adapt to arid environments and their low dependence on water. The project explores forms of resilience based on local seeds and agricultural knowledge. Through gestures, texts, sounds and videos, the research links ecological reflection to questions of transmission and memory. The arrangement of seeds according to a writing system inspired by Braille engages the idea of clairvoyance, understood as another way of perceiving and acting in the face of contemporary transformations. In 2025, as part of a residency linked to the SAKHA project, the videos will be projected onto an earthen wall.
